The program The noble music of the medieval wind ensemble Ensemble Seraphim takes you on a visit to some noble and royal courts of the 15th century. Experience a sumptuous banquet with us and have your ears be delighted! With works by Guillaume Dufay, Antoine Busnoys.

The Ensemble Seraphim, which specializes in medieval music, was founded in 2015 in Basel, Switzerland, and features the instruments of the Alta Cappella: shawm, bombard, and trumpet, in alternation to the softer sounds of recorders and douçaines (still shawms). With the desire of bringing the essence of medieval music to the audience in a faithful but original manner, the Ensemble has already played at numerous festivals throughout Europe. In 2018 and 2019, Ensemble Seraphim completed two successful tours
performing in Switzerland, northern Italy, southern France, Luxembourg, and Belgium with the program “The Tales of Bacchus”, dedicated to the history and culture of wine in Europe.
In 2021 Ensemble Seraphim returns to the stage to perform at festivals in Switzerland, Belgium, France and the Czech
Republic, with the programs “The Tales of Bacchus » and the latest « La Noble Musique ».
