Halla is a fifty-year-old independent woman. Known to others only by her pseudonym « The Woman of the Mountain », she is secretly engaged in a partisan war against the aluminium industry to save her home ecosystem from destruction.

Woman at War takes a humorous sidelong glance at what it means to look, sound and act as a single person on serving the protection of our common home.

This film won the 2018 European Parliament LUX FILM PRIZE.
