Tackling racism in Europe: historical, theological and practical truths. How does faith inform understanding and response?

This event has been organized jointly with Holy Trinity Brussels, German Protestan Church and the Chapel for Europe.

One year on from the murder of George Floyd, what is the response of people of faith to racial injustice? What has been the role of the churches in the development of ideologies and narratives around race, ethnicity and whiteness? How can faith help in the fight against racial injustice today?
Join us and our panelists for a conversation on May 27th at 7pm CET on Zoom. Register here.
We are delighted to welcome:
Selina Stone, Tutor and Lecturer in Political Theology, St Mellitus College, London
Prof. Dr. Volker Küster, Professor of Comparative Religion and Missiology, Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz

This interactive online conference will encourage and equip people of faith and people working in the EU institutions, government representations and the NGO sector. You are invited to come and deepen your understanding of the causes of racism, and the factors that can foster real and meaningful change.
